Climbing Conditions

We climbed the Tokumm Pole yesterday in the rain. The rock roofs provided nice protection for the belayer although the cornices were getting dangerously heavy with all the precip so I cleaned off the big ones threatening the main line. A couple larger cams were handy to protect the rock exit leading out.

A couple of tourists with no climbing gear somehow downclimbed the WI 2 exit at the end of the canyon and then got stuck trying to climb back out. This is not recommended!

We forgot to clean our rap anchor at the end of the day! 5m of red and black webbing and 2 BD magnatron lockers are probably still sitting at the top of the climber's left line as I write. I would love to get those back!
