Rockies: Bow Hut Approach Size 2.5 Avalanche
Natural Slab avalanche on Bow Hut Approach

On the way out from the Bow Hut we encountered a recent Size 2.5 avalanche that hit the normal approach trail. We estimate that it occurred in the last 12 to 24 hours (Sunday night / Monday morning).
It did not hit our conservative up-track in the trees on the climbers right.
