Early Season Conditions

Weeping Wall Area

Climbing Conditions

Climbed the center/right line on the lower wall and Mare in Winter on the upper wall. Thoughtful climbing and a slight water tolerance were required for the lower wall and Mare in Winter had a nice stout pillar to start and great plastic ice on the last pitch. Of note, the Weeping Pillar calved a rather large icicle today. By the looks of the area below, this is happening quite regularly so best to let if fill in a bit more.

The picture is of Sean Willis leading the "stout" pillar at the base of Mare in Winter.

Have fun out there!
