Ski Conditions

Wind affected snow in the alpine/ Still early condition

Rogers Pass - Avalanche/Eagle bowl - Via Avalanche Crest trail

Ski Conditions

I went on a tour with highly motivated people in the Avalanche/Eagle bowl via the Avalanche Crest trail.

We traveled up to the Bowl and back out using the Avalanche crest trail where there were no more than 20 cm at the start. We had to walk few sections below 1500 meters.

At 1750 meters, HS was 75cm and at 2000 meters HS was approximately 100cm.

Up to 2cm widespread SH at treeline and below, as well as in sheltered areas in the alpine. Sun crust was observed on steep solar aspects, otherwise, extensive wind effect in the alpine.

No new avalanches observed.
