Ski Conditions

I was instructing an AST 2 in this area today and noticed the snow is becoming upside down, sometimes making for tiresome trailbreaking and skiing. The surface snow is warming with these temperatures, but the deeper snow is still cold facets. We didn't observe any avalanches, but it's a good indicator of potential slabs forming above the December weak layers.
