Climbing Conditions

Just a reminder and heads up to fellow Bugaboo connoisseurs that the spring melt has loosened up large piles of boulders on ice.
On both our approach and descent from the crescent towers we experienced large shifts of boulders that had the potential to injure or kill.
As best we could, we minimized our time under boulders on ice and approached and descended laterally, traversing in from the side, not stacked on top of each other and in the line of fire.
Another location to be aware of is approaching the Bugaboo glacier from the Kain hut.
