Climbing Conditions

Climbed the Rogers - Swiss Traverse via the West ridge of Rogers and exited down the Swiss/Truda Couloir. The traverse is in excellent condition and mostly snow free. Still lots of snow in the couloirs making for good travel conditions. We did not have an overnight freeze however the snow remained supportive on the Swiss Glacier in the afternoon. Still good coverage on the Glaciers. The Bergshrund on the Swiss/Rogers Couloir is large and open but manageable. Sir Donald still appears from a distance to have some snow lurking on the north side of the ridge, and there is still snow on the bypass.
