Ski Conditions

Over the past week and a bit we have been enjoying mod to low hazard skiing. Yesterday in the slightly warmer temps we managed to ski a north aspect line of a classic into Ursus Creek area. Surface snow observed through the day was small surface hoar, facets, windslab, wind crusts and facets on windslab. In general a surface condition. With new snow and warmer temps in the forecast it will be interesting to see the different reactivity to these surface conditions. Needless to say hazard will drastically increase with new snow, wind and warmth.
