Climbing Conditions

We took advantage of the recent bombing of Superbok and found relatively challenging conditions on the last pitch. Perhaps the snow brought down in the slide adhered to the previously wet ice to form the thick collapsible shell over much of the crux pitch.

We took avy gear, snow was noticeably accumulating from a clear sky with wind transport.

An enjoyable opportunity to climb the route in mid winter. Waterproof shells were useful.
