Ski Conditions

We went for a short tour in direction of the Fuzzy knob on Mount Macpherson up to 1300 meters where we dig a test profile. We did two compression tests: CTM 12 SC down 57cm & CTE 9 SC down 56cm. Both tests failed on a 7cm facet layer, which was 4F in terms of resistance.

We skied very low-angle terrain; thus, we did not trigger anything and our observations were very limited, therefore we did not see any new avalanches.

Anyhow, I thought this small test profile could be one more piece of information for all of us playing in the mountain.

Sincerely,

Fred
