Spring Conditions

Climbing Conditions

Driving through the DTC today it was very warm. Spring conditions are on the way. There has been rapid rise in temps and intense solar inputs on the snow above NBTB and Eliot’s Left Hand. It was 9 degrees above and clear at 1400 hours.

Spring rock climbing will arrive very soon in the valley. Remember, it brings spring hazard with it. Expect a lot of natural rock fall at areas like Abraham Slabs.

The Fox via ferrata is drying up rapidly, there is some snow on the decent trail at this time.
