I was out today guiding Western Island College (WIC) students with the U of C Outdoor Centre. The Powderface Ridge Trail was extremely slick with snow covered roots and rocks. As you can see by the attached photo, the view was non-existent, and for a ridge hike that’s a total disappointment. Wait until things warm-up/clear-up before heading out to hike around the Elbow Valley.
