We skied on 93N today in the Bow Summit area. Wind was light at treeline, but moderate at ridge tops and transporting snow all day. High temperature was -3.
Despite a good freeze last night after yesterdays extreme high temperatures the crust was not quite supportive and only about 6-8cm of new snow fell overnight.
We saw one natural slab, size 2, which pulled out of unskiable terrain above Jimmy Jr Bowl and ran well into the ski line.
Not the best ski quality but a beautiful day to be out in the mountains.
