Toured around the Ledge basin area yesterday and the Sky Pilot/Stadium zone the day before. Coverage is excellent above 1200m. Around those elevations and below expect creeks to be open and difficult to cross. Minimal wind effect in the open areas, with settled, faceting snow/some surface hoar on the shady slopes. All solar locations will now be crusted or warming up fast so plan accordingly. Temps stayed cool with no warming of the snow surface in the shade, which should last for a day or two more. Minimal avalanche activity was observed from approximately Sunday night, where a few shallow size 1s released in isolated locations. Of note was a shrund/moat that did not have much snow bridging it that we crossed while climbing and descending a couloir.
