Ski Conditions

8 cm new. 35 cm ski penetration. Skied supported terrain mostly under 30 degrees.
No sign of natural activity (good visibility).
Rutschblock test at 1640 m on SW aspect on 30 deg slope. HS 175 cm
RB 3 down 44 cm on decomposed stellars
RB 3 simultaneously occurred down 77 cm. just below the Dec 15 interface.(10-15 mm surface hoar)
This was in a 3 cm thick 1 finger resistance layer of facets sandwiched between two pencil resistance layers.
These results led me to believe that there is a good likelihood of triggering the storm snow interface on the right (wrong) feature and step down is a very real possibility.
