I ran a camp at Nirvana Pass last week. Weather started warm with rain up to 2000 meters followed by cooling and snow on 23rd. The rest of the week was cool with mostly clear skies. Skiing was good with 15 cms new snow over frozen or well settled depending on aspect and elevation. Some wet loose avalanches early in the trip then nothing else observed. My 5th trip to this area and the terrain and the generally good weather in the rain shadow of the Waddington Range continues to impress me.
