My guest and I enjoyed good conditions on the SE peak of Mt Murchison Aug 3rd. There was a short amount of travel on soft snow which did not require crampons or ice axe. Summit gullies and towers were snow free. There was running water in several places to refill bottles.
2 devices at the summit recorded the SE elevation at 11003meters. Maybe a new 11ker that should be on ‘the list’?
