Rogers Pass Conditions

Rogers Pass Hermit Group

Climbing Conditions

Spent the day on Mount Tupper. Rogers Pass is still transitioning from winter to summer (about a month behind average years) in the mountains with heavy snow cover above 2000m. Hermit campground was fully covered with up to 2m of snow. Entirely snow travel from campground to Tupper West Ridge. Tupper West ridge is snow free and dry. Still lots of snow in Lone Pine.

Still lots of snow in the Herdman Couloir on Macdonald. Sir Donald NW was still snow covered with fresh snow on the North Face.

Tupper is excellent condition, fast travel with an overnight freeze.
