Climbing Conditions

Climb Mount Tupper June first and Little Sifton June second.

The Hermit trail is snow free up to 1600 meters. At 1800 meters the trail is all covered in snow.

The past two days there were minimum freeze overnight. My full boots was easily going into the snowpack while making steps.

Lots of big cornices still hanging on ridges of all the peak in the Hermit zone.

Tupper: The approach from the campsite to the ridge is done on snow entirely. On the West ridge proper, we had to step on snow several time, but really the ridge was snow free for the most part/dry rock.
