Climbing Conditions

Climbing Conditions

Louise Falls continues to grow bigger and fatter with a couple of body sized hanging daggers on the left side and a small curtain on the right. No running water on the left side but it is "filling in" as it grows and it almost felt like real ice climbing today as opposed to hooking your way up a blue pegboard:)

Still lots of snow enroute, around and above it so I would avoid climbing there on the next really warm day. Same goes for the Back of the Lake crags. The first couple of warm days will likely feature some small slush avalanches, wet rock and maybe some rockfall.
