Avalanche Conditions

Today we toured up to Rudi’s ridge, north of KHMR. Wide spread whumpfing throughout tree-line and alpine.

Remote triggered north aspect from 50-100m away. 80m wide, 60-80cm deep (to ground in spots), 500m long to valley bottom. We set off numerous whumpfs in the alpine meadows, however, did not notice avalanche until visibility improved on a second lap.

Great riding conditions. Low angle terrain ridden only. Ski pen 30cm medium density snow.
