Climbing Conditions

Climbed Lone Ranger and R&D in Ranger Creek today. Both climbs are in good shape with good protection, though the ice was a little brittle today at -14°C. The Chalice also looked like it was in shape and has had some traffic.

The avalanche hazard is still relatively low on these climbs and the 2-4 cm of new snow overnight with very light winds did little to change that. No sluffing or new avalanche activity observed in the area today.

Nice early season conditions!
