Climbing Conditions

Palisades Conditions 7/12/17:

Guided T-Bolt to Sill Traverse 7/11-12 via NF Big Pine. From Sam Mack Mdw can take direct route to glacier up drainage still, should be good for some time. Suncups are a pain mid elevation up to 12500' or so but easier travel above that.

The bergschrunds are getting big, with V-Notch and U-Notch on the verge of being unclimbable, though spicy moat options on the side might exist. The Underhill Couloir is the best filled in, and has no signs of recent rockfall. The schrund accessing T-Bolt's NE Couloir required some aid moves off axes and just barely went. Photos attached.
