My guest Peter D and I enjoyed dry conditions on Deltaform’s NW ridge Aug 13. No need for crampons and axe yesterday. There is no running water beyond the creeks below Wenkchemna pass but there are snow patches starting near the summit of Neptuak and the N-D col for snow melt.
The 30% chance of thunderstorms turned into 100% for us and we were glad to have a tarp to hunker down for an hour in the early afternoon storms.
We added cord to a couple or rap stations and everything else looked good.
What an adventurous day
