Ski Conditions

Ski Conditions

It is the start of the Adventure Guide Diploma Program ski expedition, and the first day was on Observation peak.

Ski crampon was mandatory from 2400 meters and up.

We did a run on the Northern aspect from 2950 meters down to 2500, where we found good winter snow condition. Nothing so deep, enough to cover my ski, but very nice skiing.

We did our run down on the south aspect at 11:20 where the corn snow was pretty good. The snow pack actually carried us all the way down to the road.

The temperature when we arrived at the car at 12:15 (2000 meters) was 3 degrees.
