J Mills and I attempted the route ‘Snerts Big Adventure’ in The Bowl right side area today. Nearing the end of the first pitch we were confronted by several aggressive ravens, one flying within inches of my head. After close inspection noticed that they may be protecting a nest located 10m left of the belay, above the start for East End Boys.
We descended and moved 100m west to Grey Scale, which they were happy with.

Probably best to avoid routes East End Boys, Snerts, Yellow Edge, until they have moved on.
Best to give them the space they need....ravens never forget.
