I guided the NE Arete of Wedge Mountain this morning for Altus Mountain Guides. We had a weak freeze overnight, but still mostly not more than ankle deep apart from a few shallow spots on the lower part of the North Face where it was above the knee. Huge bucket steps from the parties that climbed it yesterday on the upper part of the route made for very secure footing. All things considered great conditions right now!
