Just back from a Banff Highline Trip with Yamnuska Mountain Adventures, where a group of 8 of us traversed from Vista Lake, through Sunshine, Magog and out Mount Shark Trailhead. Attached photo was take July 13.
Some notable observations;
-Trails throughout were muddy making travel challenging on a few occasions
-Numerous snow patches, some covering trails making for some route finding
-Mosquitos were considerable at Shaddow and Egypt Lake camps and extreme at Haiduk Lake - not a good spot for a rest
-Most, if not all waterways were at high flow making those without bridges more challenging to cross
