Climbing Conditions

For people interested in some mountaineering in the Rogers Pass area this summer, there are 2 webcams located at our Mt Fidelity weather station. Yes, they've been there all winter and have been getting used by the public, but this is a reminder that for up-to-date images of Sir Donald, Uto, and any new snow in the Rogers Pass area, please click on the link below:

Current conditions at Rogers Pass: slightly above average snowpack depths at tree-line and in the alpine (~280cm at 1900m), glaciers have great snow coverage and crevasse-bridging, and still lots of potential for large avalanches to run full path into the valley floors. With the incoming rain and warm temp's these next few days, we will likely see another significant Spring avalanche cycle here in the Selkirks over the weekend.
