We made an ascent of Assiniboine N Ridge on August 8.
Conditions on the approach via Assiniboine Creek and on the mountain were excellent. No snow or ice were encountered on the mountain.
Unfortunately the Cross River road to access Assiniboine Creek has been closed due to a forest fire. This was quite an active fire when we drove by it so I doubt this access will be opened anytime soon.
