Yesterday I guided a group of four along the Little Sifton Traverse.
As expected the trail up Grizzly Shoulder was pretty rugged - above 1800m it improves drastically.
Above 2300m I was surprised to find no new wind effect and knee deep trail breaking in low density snow. It was still cold at the col, -13.5ºC at 13:50.
Skiing down the Hermit side the great snow lasted until about 2200m where a minor sun crust had formed on any due solar aspects. This was easily avoided by skiing more east facing rolls.
