Up Asulkan Valley to the top of Tree Triangle today. Large widespread surface hoar in the valley bottom (up to 15mm) tapering in size to 5mm around 2100m. Above 2100m where we were the wind has blown the surface hoar off, however I would guess that in sheltered places up high it still could remain. Especially important given the new snow forecasted to arrive later this week.
