Ski Conditions

Snow line started at ~1400m on a north aspect and depth gradually increased to 40cm at 1900m. Maximum depth observed was ~70cm on an east aspect at 2300m.

In the alpine there was widespread soft wind effect. 30-40cm 1F- to 4F snow overlies a 3cm K crust which is 20-30cm above the ground.

Ski quality was decent from 2350-2000m on grassy slopes. Below 2000m it was difficult not to hit obscured hazards.

One 48hr old size 2 storm slab Na was observed on a E aspect that ran on the MFcr.
