Total Abandon Ice Conditions

Climbing Conditions

On Sunday December 4, 2016 @ 11:00am we climbed "Total Abandon" on the Corinthian Column on Pikes Peak (WI4+, M4-5)

P1: A little ice, 1 13cm screw placed.
P2: Thin - lot's of mixed
P3: Little Ice.

We built an ice screw anchor at the base of the final chimney.
Snow conditions were good, with the exception of the final 100' to the top traverse, where the snowpack became less unconsolidated and thus, less stable.
