Trail Conditions

From Elbow Lake trail is good shape into the subalpine. It is marked by flagging tape and carins. Once trail follows the creek more closely before the terminal moraine it is important to watch out potential rockfall from steep slopes. There is a safe option all the way up by choosing the best side of the creek. If you are in autopilot with your head down you can find yourself in a bad position. Rockfall was observed from summit of Mt. Rae that travelled all the way down the glacier.
