Just finished a 7 day stint of guiding near the Gorge area, North of Malakwa. New snow every night ranged form 10 to 20cms and while freezing levels did fluctuate a little the week ended with some of the finest skiing of the year in this area. With low avalanche hazard and regular accumulations of new snow, every day was a super experience last week, with thick fog in the region from time to time and not a lot of sun.
