Trail Conditions

We just finished an ACMG Assistant Hiking Guide Course based in Lake Placid. We spend the last 9 days hiking on and off trail at various locations in the Adirondacks. Some of the peaks we hiked were Jay, Macomb, South Dix and Grace covering terrain ranging from 300-1300m elevation. We had very little rain and trails were mostly dry with a few muddy sections. We noticed one patch of snow near the summit of Haystack. The bugs were out but still manageable.
