Ski Conditions

Skied Bonney Moraines today with friends. -6 deg. C. at Loop Brook parking and -12 deg. C. at the top of Bonney Moraines. HS 175cm @1950m (top of the moraines).

Relatively easy travel up loop brook with a few early season hazards (open water). "Elephant's Trunk" was a bit spicy on the way up but manageable on skis and very skiable on the way down.

We enjoyed good skiing right of the top of Bonney Moraine with boot top settled dry powder. With mostly cloudy skies and intermittent flurries all day, we did not venture higher up into the alpine.

We did not observe any new avalanche activity or any signs of instability.
