The past couple of days was spent in the Catamount Glacier area. We climbed Black Fang S Ridge and did a NW Ridge/NE Ridge traverse of Gwendoline on Saturday, and the W Ridge of Harmon on Sunday.

Glaciers are dry to about 2750m but snow from last week’s storm lingers in shaded areas. This created some challenges navigating boulder fields and on the steeper terrain on the peaks. Sunny faces are dry.

Fall colours are out, temperatures stay cool all day but it’s warm in the sun, and the bugs are done. It’s a great time to be out in the mountains.
