On November 7th, 2024, Parks Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces were able to successfully test and verify the howitzers used for avalanche control in Rogers Pass. The East Rogers Winter Restricted Area has been re-opened effective immediately.
Please note the Winter Permit System will come into effect November 15th, 2024.
