I guided an ascent of Eisenhower tower via the right variation this morning. We had a beautiful day in and out of the clouds with short periods of showers and snow. The average temperature was way above what was forecasted with an estimated 10 degrees at the top at 11:15am and light winds coming from the Northwest.
The snowpatch between the 2 lines of ascent is minimal. It is avoidable on the way up and easily manageable on the rappel. We didn’t encounter any other snow en route.
