Ski Conditions

Just spent two days with a group up at the pass. First day on the Dome we found impeccable skiing from the low col. Playing the aspect was important as most solar tilted terrain got moist from the intense solar. Good turns on the exit above the creek mind you fairly skied out.
Day two we found very similar conditions on the Bonney Glacier. HS was well over my 320cm probe on the glacier. As expected a loose wet cycle was observed on most steep solar terrain on SE aspects in the am and S to W aspects in the pm. The biggest observed being in the size 2 range. A visible wind affect on alpine snow was also present but was not reactive to skier traffic on slopes we skied. Descended up to 45 degrees in Alpine and 40 In Treeline and below. We avoided steep solar slopes at all elevations.
