Avalanche Conditions

Barely skiable conditions in the trees to get up into the alpine.

Soft slab cracking around the skis, sitting on facets above the Nov.4 crust over facets. Still thin snowpack 50 to 80cm deep.

Light S wind throughout the day in the alpine, stronger winds and colder in the valley. Snowing lightly with high humidity. Warm air aloft brought temps at 2400m to -6 in the afternoon.

No avalanches observed.
