Visitor Safety teams climbed Carlsberg Column and Cascade Kronenbourg on Mt Dennis in Field over the last two days.
Both routes are in good condition with good opportunities for protection. Carlsberg was fairly wet on all three pitches but is nice and fat.
Kronenbourg was dry and we found it useful to have a couple short screws (10 cm) and a few small to medium cams/nuts to help protect the the second pitch. The steady mild temps made it slightly easier to stomach moving below the hanging daggers but this hazard is worth keeping in mind.
Avalanche hazard on both these routes is currently low.
