Ski Conditions

We toured at Berthoud Falls today, ascending the CDT route on the SE Ridge to 11,880'. It was 27 degrees at 6:00am, with a 15-20mph WNW Wind. 4-5" of fresh snow, observed during the ascent with a soft slab layer below.

We descended the SE aspect of that slope and found the most consistent and stable snow to be between 11,700 and 11,300.

We got 3 laps in, then headed out.
