Heads up to ice climbers in the Rockies. An intense storm cell this morning has overloaded the weak layers in the Field/ Yoho area. Natural avalanches have been observed running over Carlsberg Column, Heineken Hall, Super Bok and Extra Lite this morning. The field back road is closed at this time due to avalanche hazard, with an estimated opening of Friday AM depending on weather.
