Avalanche Conditions

AVALANCHE CONTROL is planned for Mt Dennis, Mt Field, Mt Stephen and Mt. Cathedral in Yoho National Park on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022: No climbing, or other activities in this area tomorrow.

This includes all of the ice climbs on Mt. Dennis (Guinness, Carlsberg, Pilsner...) and Mt. Stephen (Twisted, Super Bok, Masseys...) and Silk Tassel on Mt. Field as well as the ski tour on Mt. Field.

Note: There is no map for Cathedral as this is very infrequently controlled. The north side of Cathedral above the TCH is the area that will be closed on Tuesday.
