Parks Canada will be conducting avalanche control on both Mount Whymper and the Simpson area along highway 93 South in Kootenay National Park on Friday Feb. 5. No activities on these peaks for the day.
See attached photos which give an overview of where Simpson and Mt. Whymper are, and close ups of each that have the general region to avoid (in red). We appreciate your cooperation with this.
