AVALANCHE CONTROL: Intermitted Road Closures, Icefields Parkway, Friday November, 17.

Short Closures on the Icefields Parkway:

Jasper Visitor Safety will be conducting training, for avalanche control on Friday, November 17th, between 12:00 and 16:00 on the Parkers Ridge/Big Bend slide paths. There will be intermitted road closures, with delays of 1 hour, in place at km110 (Big Bend) and km117 (Parkers). This will not affect access to Weeping Wall or Polar Circus ice climbs.
