Did a trip up Ursus minor and descended the SE couloir into Dispatchers Bowl. Ascending the standard ursus trees up track I was surprised by the lack of crust on due south. Once above the treeline there was minor wind affect in open terrain, and no signs of instabilities besides a slight change in density in the top 35 cms (pole probing). I suspect it was a thin buried windslab. Off the summit we descended a steep Lee pocket with reactivity limited to only sluffing, despite our ski cutting attempts. The sluff did however run the entire chute approx 300m but stopped on the fan without pulling any other slabs sz 1.5. In places a thin buried crust was felt. Once into Dispatchers the snow was very good.
